A disease also called hypocortisolism caused by the adrenal gland not producing enough cortisol.

Diagnostics
Blood Test
serum electrolyes, morning serum cortisol and serum ACTH, BUN, creatine
ACTH Stimulation Test
An injection of synthetic ACTH is given and the level of cortisol in your blood is measured before and after.
Insulin-induced hypoglycemia test
The blood glucose and cortisol levels are checked at certain intervals after insulin is given. In healthy people the cortisol level will increase while the glucose level decreases.

Medications
Glucocorticoid
prednisone, hydrocortisone
Management of inflammation given.
Do not discontinue use suddenly

Intravenous Therapy of Saline Solution, Dextrose and Hydrocorttisone is given .
