Case
Ryan committed suicide in 2003 after years of psychological aggression. He was continually harassed for being supposedly gay. After years suffering various types of harassment, upon reaching adolescence a betrayal of a supposed friend after an online confession led to the spread of the rumor that he was gay throughout the school.
The case was key to getting the approval of the Harassment Prevention Law in the North American State of Vermont, seven months after Ryan's death.
