    - - On page 106, this means that she doesn't talk a lot and that she is very quiet to herself. Because of this, we can say that Katniss isn't willing to share her thoughts except her friends and the people that are really close to her.
  - - - On page 72, when Peeta gave Katniss a simile, she thinks that that action is trying to win Katniss over by kindness. But, Peeta is just trying to be nice to Katniss and she takes it the other way which she thinks that Peeta is trying to kill her in an easier way.

  - - - Even though Katniss only mentions Gale as a hunting partner, Katniss has feelings for Gale. This is shown in page 80 where it saids about Katniss would choose Gale to talk with her about matters. Once again this shows that Gale and Katniss are much closer than they think.
  - - - It show that on 127. When the audience hears Katniss's reply, all of the audience laughs. This shows that Katniss without trying to have humor makes all of the audience laugh.
  - - - On page 162 it saids that she realized that she is being hunted by the Career group is hunting her. She knows that because the Career group is making Peeta tag along just because due to Peeta, the group can hunt Katniss
  - - - On page 168, Katniss is worried about not getting the sponsors that she is thinking about. This shows that without getting help from others she tries to rely on sponsors that can give helpful things to her.
  - - - This event shows that while she is sleeping, she is always prepared and that she is ready to jump into action if pessary. Due to this, Katniss becomes a hard character to catch in the games.
    - - On page 238, it saids that she will kill anyone that she met which shows us that she is really prepared
  - - - On page 232 Katniss tries to help Rue out. This shows that Katniss thinks of Rue as an actually ally and helps her out most of the times.
    - - On page 233 it saids that Katniss will win the hunger games for both Katniss and Rue. This shows sympathy towards Rue that Katniss actually cares for her. Also Katniss wouldn't tell this to anyone except for the people that she is really close to and who she knows really well.
    - - On page 248, it saids that Katniss has to order herself to do simple things like drink water and other things. Because of this, we know that Katniss is always sad for loosing Rue and she feels sorry for her.
  - - - On page 244, it Katniss saids "before I can stop myself, I say Peeta." This phrase is important because it shows how Peeta is an important factor for Katniss in the book. Also it shows how Katniss might not kill Peeta.
    - - When Peeta is in danger, Katniss is there to always help Peeta out. On page 255, it saids that Katniss was looking through the first aid kit to check the medicine that she has will help Peeta. By doing this action, we can see that Peeta gets help from Katniss.
    - - When Katniss receives the broth, she immediately gives it to Peeta on page 262. This shows that by giving the food to Peeta, it is a sign of sympathy towards him.
- - - - On page 133 Peeta siads that he likes Katniss and he is really serious when she saids that.
    - - On page 257, Peeta saids that he is fine with a kiss which shows that Peeta has affection for Katniss. He also said what is wrong when Katniss laughs. This shows that Peeta wants to survive together with Katniss and fall in love.
    - - This shows on page 208 by Rue because she has spied on their camp. This shows that Peeta is willing to have hope for Katniss and that he wants to save her by not going with the Careers.
