        A temperate rain forest has a temperature between 9 degrees celsius and 12 degrees celsius. Its precipitation ranges from 200 cm to 400 cm per year. Trees with needle like leaves dominate this forest.
        
        Temperate deciduous forests is dominated by climax communities of deciduous trees which loos their leaves every autumn.
