Home Page: "Mr. Johnson's Writing Website"
Purpose: This page will be an introduction to the resources and purpose of the website as a whole. Toward the bottom of the page, I will include either a feedback box or post my email address that will open in an email with the intention of sending feedback directly to me on the site or just to communicate in general.
Content: I will supply an overview and commentary specifically introducing the course as well as the contents of the website.
General Site Resources: I will be using (and re-purposing) many of the materials I use in the classroom and already put into regular use throughout my previous years teaching AP Lang to make access to the materials engaging and easy for current and previous students.
Three Major FRQ Styles for AP Lang
Purpose: This page will be dedicated to the 3 major writing styles that are integral to mastering in order to be successful on the AP Lang test. This page will either be a summary page or an overview page, or it will be a massive page hosting all of the information outlines and presented below.
Content/Resources: If this page is a summary page, then it will contain an overview and introduction that I will write with links directing visitors directly to pages representing the three branches from this box.
Rhetorical Analysis
Purpose: Host materials, documents, and information for students to refer to outside of class to support their mastery of rhetorical analysis.

AP Lang Classroom Resources
Purpose: This page will provide students with materials to supplement and enhance what they learned or practice in class. Mainly, this page will be used to organize documents (copies of the readings) as well as recordings of lectures for students to refer to outside of class.

Classroom Discussions/Lecture Recordings: A hosting of lectures over major authors and texts we will be reading throughout the course to resort to and consult to supplement students' understanding and comprehension Link to Playlist
Copies of Readings: I will be posting copies of the course readings (open content, non copyright violating copies) that are used in the course
AP Language Course Overview
Purpose: This page will provide an overview of the basic introductory documents that this course will use (syllabus, parent letter, and information letter). This page will also provide a map of the scope and sequence of the course, noting major authors and texts, and adding to the scope and sequence, major student learning and performance objectives will be presented for each semester.
Content/Resources: .pdfs and tables/lists of the information presented will be supplied presenting the information mapped out in the branches.

Writing Support
Purpose: This page will be dedicated to hosting and organizing materials to help students build and develop their supporting writing skills before moving on the more advanced forms of writing requiring more complex mastery of the basic skills
Content/Resources: This page will host powerpoint slides, .pdfs of materials from class and from the course for students to refer to outside of class (or reprint) and links to external sites with helpful information
