Knitting
Question:
-
Ask an expert to help me knit, be instead of asking like how to knit, I can ask little questions that would be easier to understand and easier for the expert to teach how to knit.
Reflect
-
If I learned a new skill for knitting, I could reflect and maybe think of what I could do next time that might make things easier and better.
Think:
Intention: I use a range of thinking tools and strategies, with the people in my environment, to develop an understanding of other perspectives
Use graphic orginaziers to help me compare and contrast differences. For example I could use a grid and find the difference between sewing and knitting.
Connect
-
How to connect knitting with sports ( for example rock climbing because for both sports you need to do lots of things with your hands
Maybe even knitting beanies, scarves, mittens and more for people who snow board so they don't get too cold.
Determined
Intention: I can choose from a range of strategies to help me in challenging situations. I am determined to self improve.
Be demtermined and if it's hard, try to find a way not make it hard and not give up so easily
If I get stuck, instead of sitting and waiting for help, I could look for recorses that might help me. For example I might go on youtube and find videos that might help me knit.

Wonder
Intention: I can wonder about ideas and imagine possibilties from many perspectives that could have an influence on the outcomes of my learning.
