Community
A group of people who share social relationships through either living close to one another and/or being in regular contact with people who have shared ideologies or similar interests
Sense of Community
Involves a feeling that members belong are connected to each other and believe that their needs will be met through their needs will be met through their participation in the group
Experiences of Community
Gemeinschaft
Relationships on community-level that are cohesive, close and long lasting. often used to describe family relationships and relationships with small geographical communities
Gesellschaft
Relationships on a societal-level that are individualistic and impersonal. used to describe post-industrial and urban relationships, where people are more anonymous, private and busy.

How community members are made to feel apart of the group. Occurs when a group or person is integrated and help to feel that they belong
