Silent listening- staying attentive and responding non verbally without verbal feedback
Questioning- asking the speaker additional information
Paraphrasing- feedback restating in your own words you thought the speaker sent
Empathizing- identifying with the speaker
Supporting- reveals the listeners solidarity with the speaker's situation
Analyzing- listener offers an interpretation of the speaker's message
Evaluating- appraises the sender's thoughts or behaviors in some way
