How streets, roads, and avenues are different
A road is anything that connects 2 points
A way is a small street off a road & things build up
Street are public ways that have buildings on both sides
Boulevard: A big wide street with trees on both sides
Terrace: A street that follows the top of a slope
Avenues are things have trees and buildings on both sides
Lane: Narrow road, often in rural areas
Drive: Long winding road
Place: A road or a street with no throughway
Court: A court will end in a circle of loop, without a throughway
Frontage road: Running parallel to a larger road, providing local access
Highway: A major public road connecting larger cities
An interstate is part of a highway system
Turnpike: A part of a highway, drivers have pay fee
Freeway: 2 or more lanes on each side
Beltway: Surrounds a whole city
Parkway: A decorated public road, usually called that for the parkland on the side of the road
Causeway: Roads pass across low ground or water
