The stab in the back theory.During 1919 a theory that suggested a group of Jews some right wing politicians had worked together to defeat the German army in WW1 instead of the allies defeating them which was bad for the Jewish community in 1919
TRAWL
Armed forces were reduced in size. 100,000 in the army and no planes or submarines
war guilt : Germany had to take full responsibility for the war. Once they admitted it was their fault it justified the reparations. Article 231.
reparations: Germany was forced to pay reparations to France and belgium 6.6 billion. I think this is negative because Germany did not have that money to pay.
league of nations was a peace keeping treaty designed to prevent alll wars and make decisions to sort out countries however Germany was not invited to make decisions about itself. This was bad because the fate of Germany relied on other people
TRAWL Territory -Germany lost land to france and their overseas empires.parts of the rhineland were demilitarised. places taken were the alsace- lorraine
I think it is unfair because Germany was unfair because they did not have 6.6 billion after the war to pay in reparartions and it will ruin the economy. I think the reduction in army was fair because it was to prevent wars in the future . I dont think that the war guilt was fair because everyone had a role to play. I also think the taking off all their teritory was unfair because it belongs to them.
Challenges of 1923
Hyperinflation
The economy was collapsing so the Weimar Government printed more money so the worth of the money decreased. The collapse was so fast it is called hyperinflation.
The blame could go to the Weimar Government for printing too much money. The blame could also go to the |FRench government for invading the Rhur. The blame could also go the the German people because they decided not to work and to go on strike stopping the production in the Rhur and slowing the economy.
people life savings had no worth and people with fixed income obs suffered because they could not keep up with rising prices. Many people became poor and starvation was a common problem.

French invasion of the Ruhr:The weimar government refuses to pay reparations because they dont have enough money and this angers the French so they invade the industrial area of the ruhr. The workers went on strike causing the economys growth that they can use to pay reparations stopped

The League of Nations
The League of Nations was intergovernmental organisation founded on 10th January 1920 as a result of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the first World War 1. The government that was in charge of the league of nations did not allow Germany to join. Its main aim was to stop war.
