. The popularity of podcasts can be linked to their simplicity in creating, editing, publishing and listening to them. Another reason that could be attributed to their rising popularity, according to Tan and Mong (n.d.), is the “…increasingly widespread ownership of MP3 players and the relative ease with which individual podcasters can create and distribute files” (p. 2)
