Entry PV (CS)
gas test the vessel interior for a breathable (oxygen) atmosphere free of flammable or toxic material

air movers must be installed to ventilate the vessel
large PV, the technician must wear a self-contained breathing apparatus
must be purged and blinded
Hot Work
Anything that can generate sufficient heat for combustion
Precautions must be taken
always assumed that equipment will still contain some process materials even though the unit was purged
