A 3D printer is used when students design an object using a software on a computer. This object is then printed into a tangible item.
The 3D scanner is responsible for creating a 3D model from a tangible object that the student has. This also goes hand in hand with the 3D printer because after the object is scanned in, it can then be printed.
This area of the classroom will contain desktops, laptops, as well as tablets that students will be able to accesses the software that is required for the 3D printer, that will be in this area as well.
This area of the classroom will be similar to the area above. It will contain desktops, laptops, as well as tablets. Along with a 3D printer, a 3D scanner will be in this area as well.
Within this are of the classroom, I will provide the students with, computers, microphones, head phones, web cams and more computer based tools.
With Digital Storytelling the students will be able to tell their own stories using these computer based tools. Audio, and video are just a couple of examples on the ways these stories can be presented.
The different bins will allow students to conserve items by using them more than once. Recycle bins will be color coated and labeled for the students to put recycled items in each bin. Then, when an item is needed, the student can pick an item from any bin that will help them with what they are creating.

When providing your students with different options to create their own designs. You should have an up to date software that allows them to do so. Below are a couple of 3D design software's:
Entry-Level Software
CAD Solid Modeling Software
This area would be tied in with the 3D printer, as well as the 3D scanner because it would be a software on a computer that would allow students to process their work
