Reliable and Credible http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/24/us/puerto-rico…
Author
If a website doesn't list an author or it doesn't have contact information for an author, then it makes a red flag in my brain for a bad source to use.
A tilde (~) means that it is an author’s personal page on the server/web. Try not to use these sources.

Date
-
The date of a website should be in the article or it isn’t credible. It’s usually at the very bottom.

Bias
If there is a catalog is usually means it isn’t a good source to use. But don’t just judge it off of that. That isn't all of bias.
Look at the organization/authors mission statement if there is one. This will tell you what their point of the article is.
The goal of some websites is to sell you something or they want to make money, that’s bias. They are trying to influence you to donate that way they can make money.

Accurate
-
Looking for an expert on a topic is important when you’re looking at the author’s information. To get credible information you have to have a good expert (someone who knows the info) to get good information.
If you took 5 students from the same 7th hour class and asked them what the teachers name was they would all say the same thing and it would be reliable information.
