If website is a .gov, .edu, or, .org the author is part of an organization that can be trusted.

If the author lets you know where the information came from it is most likely accurate information.

You can find the date at the bottom of the home page.

They are trying to make their point clear and be your point and care or side with them

Is the information from a reliable organization that can be trusted?

If information can be verified with other websites the information is most likely accurate.

Is the author from an adult or kids because the kid is not an expert an might not be accurate information.

Newer statics need to be updated to keep the information current and you should look for the updated or newly added sources.

If the website is information from past event then the information wouldn't change so the date then doesn't matter.

Even if the date says it is updated it could have been updated for spelling so be careful still.

They will use words to make you agree with them.

What is their purpose of writing their piece: money, to side with them?

Able to find what they are trying to convince or persuade

If there is a tilde(~) in the link it is a personal account linked on to the organization, not put out by the organization.

Look for the authors name at the bottom of the page or in the about us link.

Check if the author has a reliable link to his/her email to verify information.
