Check the Links
Another way to check if the website is current is to check the links. If the links works, that is a way that it could be updated. Are the links broken? If they don't work, chances are they are not current.
Even if the site was created in 2004, the site can still be updated. Check the revision date. You can find this by the word "updated". If it was updated in 2017, the site should be up to date.
Updated Website This website is a good example for a date website because it is a news website. The news is constantly updating their website with new articles.
Accurate
Look for refreshes and sources. If there are sources that recommend you to that certain website, you know it should be accurate because another person or organization knows/thinks their information is accurate.
Double check to see if the website has accurate information. If you can look up a fact and other credible sites say the same information, chances are, the fact is correct.
Kids are not credible. Even though kids take weeks to research and find information, their websites should not be trusted. For all you know, they could make up information and sites and cram everything onto a website.
Make sure the author is an expert in their field. If you trust the author, you should trust that their information is accurate. If you don't know the author's name, look them up. Take a look at some other articles they have written. Does it seem accurate? If you don't trust the author, then don't use their information.
Accurate Website I know this information is accurate to this story because the information can be confirmed. There are similar cases that have had similar issues with abuse. The information about this case is coming from the person herself. This makes the information accurate because the information is coming from the source.
Bias

Not Bias Website This website is not biased because it is informing you about a worker who died in Bangladesh. It doesn't want you to feel bad or sorry, they simply want to inform you about the worker's story.
