Who is the author?

Is the information accurate?

Is there bias?

When was the website made?

The author is listed at the bottom of the page or the about us tab.

Believe .orgs that know about the topic.

See if you can email the author

Where do the author/s work?

Does the author let you know where they got their information?

Look for the same information on other websites.

If they are .org then see if know the org they are representing.

Look at the author are they a professional about the topic.

Is the website trying to sell you something? .com is commercial.

Is there a commercial logo.

Is there an about us page about why the site was created.

Catalog page. Look at the wording is the author trying to make you believe your side.

Sometimes the time the site was made does not matter like if you are researching an older topic. You will want to look at the date it was written if you are researching a curet topic.

To find the date it was written look and the bottom of the page to see the date or the word updated.
