CAMSS Canada East 2017
Aligning Bus and IT
Rogers (Jamie Williams CIO)
- IT is the business. Talk about one side of the customer (not Bus and IT).
PepsiCo (Pulkeshi Jape CIO):
- the more we understand, the better technology can enable. Balance.
- leverage the structure. connect. lift and shift.
CIBC (Corby Fine VP Digital)
- All about customer expectations. If we can't meet Cx, we got a problem.
- Data is common thread. Windows to make the data available. One ecosystem. Data goes with Cx.
- Bus engagement: drive value on share outcomes (save money, make money, make customers happy). Not just based on delivery of projects and budget.
- Priorities can be aligned but you can still have a tech problem (adoption is key)
SAS (Anne Buff):
- Alignment is real, prioritize high level by key themes (ROI, etc), and then run our initiatives against that. Separate things. Don't try to do both steps at once.
