Muhammad started spreading his ideas through preaching but were persecuted and fled. Muhammad came back 10 years later to conquer Mecca. Central Beliefs:
The ideas of Confucius appealed to many people because he focused on behavior of everyday life. Taught the importance of family, Respect of ones elders, and deep respect for ones ancestors. Believed that conducting proper rituals lead to social harmony. They also believed in the Golden Rule which was-" do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Confucianism also used the concept of filial Piety which is the role of family members to supply the needs and desires of the male head.

The religion spread by Confucius traveling through China and teaching his teachings to other people which gained him desciples
