Changes/additions to the scope reflect changes in requirements & work definition that usually result in time and cost increases.

Have a natural tendency to grow over time because of changes & additions in the scope, a phenomenon called “creeping scope”.
Aim of scope change control is to identify where changes have occurred, ensure the changes are necessary &/ beneficial, contain/delimit the changes wherever possible & manage the implementation of changes
An alteration to the original, agreed-upon scope statement defined in the project plan & specified in the WBS.
Involves altering specifications and sacrificing technical performance to meet time and cost restrictions

Inserting a Comment
Word allows you to make comments to documents by providing balloons to the screen that appear like sticky notes.
Can use them to communicate suggestions, ideas or editing comments.
Turn off change tracking

To ensure that there are no more tracked changes in your document, be sure that all changes are showing & then use the Accept/Reject commands for each change in the document
