- - - - De facto Myanmar leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been worlwide criticised due to her mildness in adressing the Rohingya crisis. In a televised speech on last September, she condemned all human violations on the Rakhine State, but she also stated that "there is huge iceberg of misinformation"
        Furthermore, many journalist and aid workers have been lately denied access to northern Rakhine States , on the grounds that they are helping those considered terrorists.
      - In September 2016, the Myanmar government decided to set up an independent comission to find ways to solve the conflict. When creating the commission, Aung San Suu Kyi's government said it would abide by its results. The group urged the military to end the highly violent attacks on neighbourhoods where Rohingyas live, as well as lifting restrictions on movement and citizenship.
        However, when the report was released, the government said it would give full consideration to the "recommendations", without actually implementing any of the measures described.
    - - After the succesive military coups in Myanmar in the late '60s, Rohingya's situation changed dramatically. They were required to have special IDs and were not accepted as an ethnic group inside the State.
        Since the 70s, the increased number of attacks on the Rohingya in Rakhine State have forced hundreds of thousands to flee to Bangladesh and other neighbouring countries. Recently, the attacks of ARSA over border polices, sparked the tension again in between the military and the group.
        The army has been reported to fire indiscriminately to unarmed men, women and children. Thousand of houses have been burned down and hundreds of thousand have been violently forced to fled.
  - - - Malaysia
        Rohingya population: 150.000
        Last December, Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak and a few of his Cabinet members protested loudly against the Burmese government’s handling of the Rohingya crisis.
        They also organised a rally at a football stadium where each leader took turns making speeches on human rights and how Malaysia planned to ramp up pressure on the Burmese government. Despite still pretending to take diplomatic action, the Malaysian government has now decreased their amount of public pressure.
        Another importand fact is that Malaysia never signed the 1951 refugee convention. Not being a signatory means Malaysia doesn’t recognise refugees. They are all seen as illegal immigrants who will be detained and deported. This questions the honesty and reliability of the malayan government on this issue.
        
        China
        China supports efforts by the Myanmar government to protect its national security and opposes recent violent attacks in the country's Rakhine state.The two countries have close economic and diplomatic relations and China has defied expectations that democratization in the former Burma could lead to weaker relations between the two countries. On the other hand the chinese government expressed sympathy with the Rohingya people who fled to Bangladesh and is sending humanitarian aid.
        
        Saudi-Arabia
        Rohingya population: 200.000
        The kingdom of Saudi-Arabia has stated the following:
        „Saudi Arabia’s mission to the United Nations tweeted the Kingdom’s condemnation for the recent attacks on Myanmar’s Muslim Rohingya minority. Acting upon KSA responsibility as the leader of the Islamic Ummah. Saudi Arabia has called for a resolution to condemn the atrocities and human rights violations committed against the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar,” the mission tweeted. “KSA has reached out to members of the Security Council to address the recent human rights violations against the Rohingya on its agenda. KSA has expressed its concern to Secretary General, which resulted in a condemnation from the United Nations. Upholding its responsibility.”
        “Saudi Arabia will continue its efforts to find a lasting solution to the plight of the Rohingya Muslims.”
      - India
        Rohingya population: 40.000
        India is actively pursuing a good relationship with the Myanmar governments and its army officials in the hope that it can enlist their help in acting against militants in India's northeast, many of whom are based in Myanmars jungles around Sagaing. Myanmar buddhist nationalists see an ally in India's government, especially in prime minister Narendra Modi. This is also due to several ambigous announcements, such as the indian state claiming there were plas to deport the countries Rohingya population to Myanmar or Bangladesh.
      - Bangladesh
        Rohingya population: 625.000, rising due to the refugee crisis.
        On Thursday the 5th of October the Bangladesh government announced that they will identify Rohingya refugeess as „forcefully displaced Myanmar citizens“.The number of unregistered refugees who began coming into Bangladesh from Myanmar by the end of August has exceeded 500.000, according to Bangladesh government officials. Another 400.000 are already living in the country under refugee status. Previously the state has allocated 2000 acres of land to build temporary shelters for the Rohingya, another 1000 are about to be added.
      - Indonesia
        Rohingya population: 1.000
        As the worlds largest muslim-majority state, Indonesia has long been vocal on rights issues affecting muslim minorities around the world. In recent weeks the indonesian government led diplomatic efforts to end the renewed conflicts in the northern Rakhine State of Myanmar. President Joko Widodo called for violence to be „stopped immediately“ and for Myanmar's government to provide „protection to all citizens including Muslims in the country.

        Amnesty International
        
        Amnesty International investigate and expose the facts and make sure that governments and other powerful groups respect international law.
        Amnesty's main contribution is to raise awareness about the conflict in the international community and thus increase the public pressure, by publishing articles and reportes and most importantly it posted the pictures of burned villages as a piece of evidence of efforts for an ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya.
        
        Humans Rights Watch
        
        Human Rights Watch is an independent, international organization that works as part of a vibrant movement to uphold human dignity and advance the cause of human rights for all.
        In September, Human Rights Watch concerned countries to adopt an arms embargo-a ban or a partial prohibition on trade of weapons with a particular country, in order to isolate it-and individual sanctions, including travel bans and asset freezes, against Burmese military commanders implicated in abuses.
      - UN
        
        The UN, especially the Security Council, aims to end the crimes against humanity and the ethnic cleansings against the Rohingya civilian population in Myanmar.
        For instance, in March, the UN Human Rights Council agreed to send a fact-finding mission of international experts to investigate the abuses, but the Burmese government said it would not allow the investigators to enter.
        World leaders gathering in New York for this year’s UN General Assembly are expected to discuss the spiraling situation in Myanmar’s Rakhine State.
