Collections, Resources and Organising Systems
An organising system is an intentionally arranged collection of resources and the interactions they support (pp. 1- 2). Abstract characterisation of how a collections of resources is arranged.

Organising now needs to move beyond simply looking at public libraries and be expanded to other contexts e.g. social media, non-bibliographic, multi-media. Also need to take a trans-disciplinary view.
Other disciplines for which organising in an issue: information science, computer science, business, economics.Different objectives e.g. customer satisfaction, efficiency, system architecture.
