SENTENCE FLUENCY: Use simple, compound and complex sentences.
Compound sentences have two equally important clauses. They are joined together by a conjunction.
Eg: They can face many different dangers, and help may be far away.
Sentences are well organised
First sentence is the introduction about the content of the paragraph. It includes the main idea.
Simple sentences have one clause with a subject and a verb.
Eg: Tropical rainforest is a challenging environment for explorers.
Sub topics expand on the main ideas
Complex sentences are built round a main clause. They are made up of an important clause and some less important.
Eg: Fire gives us warmth and provides heat for cooking.
Paragraph could be a summary.
