Social: The society was split off into a caste system following the order from highest in power and rank to lowest: Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (Warriors or Aristocrats), Vaishyas (Cultivators, Artisans, Merchants), Shudras (Ladless peasants, Serfs), Untouchables (Children in which one parents was a shudra and the other parent was one of the top 3 ranks in the system)
