Meet with relevant people in the faculty. There will need to be an initial meeting to determine the problem scenario and agree on a way / process going forward, and who the people in the room need to be for this.

Who would be the relevant Careers Educator and Language and Learning Educator to work on this aswell? or would it be a team effort?
ADLT? The initial meeting will probably be with the ADLT and Director of Academic Practice - they would advise who the right people would be to work with on this

Work in partnership to determine best outcomes, don't come in with the 'I know best attitude'
Use time well: time is very precious to academic staff with lots of competing priorities. Be prepared for meetings, bring relevant information and data. Send relevant information to people beforehand. have a clear agenda
Take a strengths-based approach: what is already working well? What's working well in other courses / units? What have you used before or encountered before that worked well?
Planning, designing possible solutions (may be stages, some quick wins and some longer term solutions)
Perhaps focus groups / design sessions using user centred design approaches such as design thinking / appreciative inquiry including students, relevant academic staff, relevant SSG staff, perhaps International student experts (QUTIC?)

Access activities online in the Employ Your Ability Blackboard site that align with the identified CDLF learning outcomes. These may be used as is or redeveloped and contextualised for this audience.
Specific stuff may include: setting up linked in profiles, enhancing maths mindset, understanding self, ie values, interests, skills etc....
Develop any required resources - who will do this? our team? The QBS learning designer team? The students may partner on this aswell?
Use the Career Development Learning Framework (CDLF) to help determine relevant learning outcomes for design of solutions
