Anyway can be interpreted as an ending of a previous statement or just a pause between sentences.

Now sometimes signals a new topic is beginning

Be careful, if a transition marker is not recognized correctly it causes new info to be connected to a previous topic

Many different languages use the word okay but it has different meanings

if a signer signs a word that is not signed as okay, the english equivalent could still be 'Okay'

Okay is used to keep a conversation going

Words that bridge the gap in sentences/phrases

Words that link words phrases, sentences, or paragraphs

An example of a conjunction in ASL which means "What happened?" in English

Without transition markers, the hearing consumer only hear chunks of info

Transition markers help the consumer have a clear understanding of what is being said

The interpreter must consider the topic, if the info is an example or comparison/contrast, and what transition words would clarify this
