I can describe how the national government was created and explain the difficulties the founding fathers faced throughout the process.
- What were the arguments for adding the Bill of Rights?
One of the arguments made for adding the Bill Of Rights was that something was needed o safeguard individual liberty.
"As a result states beginning with Massachusetts ratified the Constitution, but called for further protections to be taken up by the new Congress as soon as it met. This loomed on the unresolved political agenda of the national Congress and the adoption of the BILL OF RIGHTS (the first ten AMENDMENTS to the Constitution) is a legacy of the victory-in-defeat of Antifederalists."

- Describe the process of the ratification. What was the purpose of the Constitutional Convention throughout that process?
The process of ratification is a process of approval by the states one by one. It stated in Penny and became a big ol mess.
"The ratification process started when the congress turned the constitution over to the state legislatures for consideration through specially elected state conventions of the people."

- What were the major issues debated by our founding fathers while creating the new government?
A major issue debated about by our founding fathers was slavery. At this point not necessarily about the fact that it was inhumane but rather and in fact it was about how they were not able to vote and did not count as a whole person but rather 3/5 of a person.
"inhumane compromise that resulted meant counting enslaved persons as three-fifths of a free person for the sake of calculating the number of people a state could elect to the House of Representatives."

- What were some struggles faced by our founding fathers while creating the new government?
A struggle was how many delegates were scared of giving a central government too much power. Due to the fact that it would basically be similar to having a king.
"Although the division between large and small states (really between high and low population states) might seem simplistic, it was the major hurdle that delegates to the Convention needed to overcome to design a stronger national government, which they all agreed was needed."
