The Roman Sacrifice By Joseph Miller
The Steps
Step 1: Arrange a Date with the Sacerdos
Step 2: Buy an animal at the market
Step 3: Decorate the animal
Step 4: On the specified date take your sacrifice to the Sacerdos
Step 5: The Sacerdos sprinkles mola salsa and wine on the animal
Step 6: The Flute player plays while the animal is hit
Step 7: The haruspex inspects the heart and live of the deceased animal and reads omens
Step 8: The entrails are burned as an offering to the gods
Step 9; The meat of the animal is cooked and shared among the participants.
If anything goes wrong repeat until everything is done correctly

A Person Trained in the practice of Haruspicy. Haruspicy is the art of inspecting entrails of a sacrificial animal and finding omens from the gods
The Victimarius
A person who guided and handled an animal which was to be sacrificed. One or more Victimari will have led an animal to the altar, carried an axe or mallet and knife to be used and held the animal in the proper position for the sacrifice

A Member of the principal college of priests
Mola Salsa
Mola Salsa is a mixtre of course ground, toasted emmer flour and salt prepared by the Vestal Virgins. It was used in every official Sacrifice.
