North America
Economic changes undergone in North America after the Cold War.
In North America, economic issues had become the main focus. This may have come from the increasing amount of budget deficits in the government at the time.

In North America, Art had become a much greater interest for people everywhere with sports, music, movies, and television spreading as well. A women's movement had also taken place which urged the return to gender roles and a balance in careers between genders.

North America had adopted many new political policies after the Cold War that had to do with spending in America as a whole. Terrorism had also been an issue looked upon by America at the time as many new policies had been made to try and overcome terrorism.
Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe had became quite disconnected from the rest of Europe after the Cold War. This was due to how the Soviets had rule over Eastern Europe while America had liberated Western Europe. In Germany the country had even been split with a wall the physically divided the two areas. Although the wall had fallen before the end of the Cold War. Their had also been a good amount of protest towards the new communists government.

The economy in Eastern Europe had been failing after the Cold War as it seemed Communism was not capable of solving many economic problems. Since had came from the sudden change to communism. This was one of the main factors that lead to East Germany merging with West Germany again.

After the fall of the Berlin wall and Germany had become reunified, Germany had taken a great hit on the economy for as the whole country now had to deal with the economic troubles from the East.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall many families that had been separated had been reunited and this had been good for German families. Although with the reunification of Germany came great amounts job loss and many immigrants had came to Germany for its very liberal ideals.

The west had been liberated by the U.S. and had recieved economic help which allowed them to thrive economically while the East had troubles. Once the Berlin Wall had fell the economic problems that had befell East Germany had spread to the West and it became a great economic problem for all of Germany.

Latin American citizens have had trouble escaping from poverty and strict rule for a long time but since 1990 many countries have switched to democracy.

Public education programs and economic growth have aided income inequality, which is a big problem in Latin America. Countries in South America have done much better than Central America.

The economy of South/Central American countries vary. Some countries like Brazil and Chile have grown at a great rate. Other countries, such as Heidi are very poor and are declining.
Middle East

After the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers in 2001. The U.S. invaded Afghanistan and Iran which held the leader of Al-Qaeda at the time. Osama Bin Laden. he was killed in the U.S. Attack.

In Libya many protesters rebelled against the harsh control of Muammar Al-Qaddifi. He was killed after sending troops to deal with the protesters. Even the UN had to get involved in this.

East Asia

The Tianamen Square demonstrations was an event where Chinese protesters at the Tianamen Square called for democracy. Deng thought they wanted an end to communism in China, so he ordered the tanks there to fire at will. 500-2,000 people were killed and many more were injured.
