Aristotle - Nicomachean Ethics
Two driving forces of humans
Moral (essentially human, animals don't have it)
Vis intellecta (intellectual force)
Vis appetiva (desire) - Good
Good life is the life which gives us HAPPINESS - which for Aristotle is "the activity of soul in accordance with virtue". Therefore, acting WELL is what matters. Not thinking well.
Virtue (has to do with desire and good not with truth)
Theological virtues: faith, hope, charity. It is about the good not the truth. Therefore, it's about virtue.
