Condercet Criterion
In head-to-head comparison, the winner should win every head-to-head comparison.
Majority Criterion
If a candidate has majority votes, they should win.
-
Monotonicity Criterion
If candidate x is the winner, and in a reelection, the only changes are changes made in favor of candidate x, then x should still be the winner.
Borda Count Method
1st place gets awarded 4 points, multiplied by the number of people who voted for that first place candidate. 2nd place gets 3 points, 3rd place gets 2 points, and 4th place gets 1 point. The winners is the candidate with the most number of points.
