Another trick you can use to make sure you don't get hacked is to change your passwords every three months to be safe.
Use a combination of lower and upper case letters. You can also use different symbols and random numbers. And don't use important dates or information as your passwords
When you make a password make sure it is unique. Every time you visit a different site try to use a variety of passwords so then not all of your information will be leaked.

Another way to keep your identity safe is by looking at purchases you have made in the past, bills, and your credit card statements.
It is proven that over 9 million americans get their identity stolen a year. One thing you can do is secure your social security number. Make sure that your social security number is not in your wallet or purse, and if it is on your driving license get it reissued.

When you are creating your email you want to make sure that if a hacker wanted to hack you it wont be easy. One thing you can do is to make a unique, and strong password.
Whenever you send a message to someone it is true that your email is reveled, But that is not as bad if you comment on a social media post,or a blog post because scammers are always looking for victims in the comment section.
