Czechoslovakia breaks into the Czech Republic and Slovakia due to old ethnic conflicts. Russia is faced with rising alcoholism, crime, and the decline of the traditional family system. Serbians committed ethnic cleansing towards Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovnia.
