Middle East
Political Changes
Iran is under control of Muslims, who are a very oppresive government and limit the rights of their civilians. When Muhammed Ahmadienja is elected again, civilians argue the election is fraud and protests occur.
Economic Changes
High unemployment rates has led to high poverty rates in most of the Middle East.
Social Changes
Palestine and Israel are constantly at conflict over terrorism and territory. Peace treaties between the two countries have been very unsucessful .
North America
Economic Changes
NAFTA is created to make trade more profitable between USA, Canada, and Mexico in North America. However, countries say that the deal gives unfair benefits to the United States.

Women began to turn on the women's movement, stating that women need to return to their normal gender roles. However, other women refused to back down, and countinued to fight for things like better wages or have more property rights.
Political Changes
Reagen Revolution in USA allows for the US to cut down on welfare policies by not spending as much on food stamps, school lunch programs, and job programs.
South America
Social Changes
While gap between rich and poor remains high, efforts have been made to create a significant middle class of equal citizens.
Political Changes
Countries such as Venenzula, Brazil, and Chile have made pushes towards a more democratic approach by the election of Left Wing Governments.
Economic Changes
South America's biggest problem comes with the gap between the rich and poor, however, solid efforts have been made to eliminate the issue like economic growth and increased public education.
Africa
Political Changes
President Honsi of Egypt uses force and brutality against his people. This leads to massive protests and Honsi's army siding with the people. Honsi was then sentance to life in prison for crimes against Humanity.
Economic Changes
Egypt struggles with unstable economy due to inflation and budget deficits.
Social Changes
Due to a struggling economy, Egypt's society is full of poverty and high criminal activity rates.
Eastern/Western Europe
Political Changes
Western: Hemut Kohl forms a more conservative government in Western Germany that benefits from his economic sucess.
Eastern: Due to the sucess of Western Germany, Eastern Germany reunifies with Western Germany.
Economic Changes
Western: European Union is formed to help stabilize country economies. One of their first accomplishments was the creation of the Euro.
Eastern: EU expands into East Europe to countries like Germany
Social Changes
Western: German people are given more rights and Germany becomes more democratic, however, issues arise from high unemployment and discontent.
East Asia
Social Changes
China creates a One child policy in efforts to reduce the population in China. The One child Policy creates benifits like better education, improved child care, and better housing.
Economic Changes
China creates free enterpirse, allowing for citizens to run their own buisnesses free of government control.
Political Changes
During the Dieng Xioaping era, China is able to end it's communist ways and create a more democratic government by creating citizen rights.
Southeast Asia
Economic
Southeast Asia's economy is constantly growing due to the high GPD values from services and industrial sectors in it's nations.
Social
Tensions have arisen between India and Pakistan over the territory Kashmir, causing many issues such as nuclear weapon testing, war threats, and border conflicts.
Political
In India, power is mostly held by Congress party, however, other parties such as the BJP party have competed with the congress party for control over the state and central government.
