Eastern Europe
One
political change
is the end of the Soviet Union which caused many issues to occur, countries to form, and new governments appear. An example of a country splitting is Czechoslovakia,
which turned in to Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Social Changes
Soviet Union- Glasnost is a social change because it allowed civilians to openly discuss political and social issues and ideas for and about the government.
Economic Changes
When the communist government collapsed, it caused an uprise of money in many countries. This is due to the fact that that the Soviet Union was so broken down and damaged. One example of a country succeed.
Western Europe

was the fact that the EU discussed and passed the Treaty on the European Union. This treaty changed the EC into the EU because of the fact that they added new countries into their union. The treaty took into effect on November 1, 1993.

that happened was the fact that they added 12 new members to the EU. These members mostly consisted of nations that became independent after the fall of the Soviet Union.

in Eastern Europe was the EU trying to make a common currency. The EU had replaced 17 national currencies to the euro by 2010. It had served approximately 327 million people.

This was the cutting of spending on food stamps, school lunch programs, and job programs. Although all this information may sound negative, there was am an upside. The money that was previously used for all of these issues was being used for the military. This caused Reagan to be responsible for the largest military buildup in history.

in North America was the change of the prime minister. This was due to the Canadians thinking of NAFTA was too favorable to the United States. The Prime Minister was blamed for this because he agreed to the terms of NAFTA.

in Africa is the rapid population growth causing economics to decrease. Poverty remained widespread with a growth rate of 2.3% compared to 1.24% in the rest of the world.

in Iran is the limit of women rights, free press, and the right to free assembly. They are not allowed to publically speak their mind about the government or any tips they have that could improve the government. Also, the wide-spread of AIDs in Africa cause more than 1.2 million people to die.

in the Middle East includes being plagued with instability, ethnic tensions, and more. Efforts to have peace between Palestinians and Israelis have failed due to many terrorist attacks and disputes over territory.

in Japan is deflation. This was widely noticed when China passed Japan as the world's second-largest economy behind the United States. Japan has since faced growing government debt and an increasing number in poverty. Japan has also been hit with major natural disasters. They caused many lives and much money to be lost.

in South Korea is widespread of technology. In South Korea, almost every household is filled with the internet and cell phones. Popular movies have grown popularity in Asia. They also rely on good education. The Third lastest amount of foreign students in America come from South Korea.

in China is the adoption of its one-child policy. Families were offered education benefits, child care, and housing were all offered to families who followed this law. China's growth rate has lowered 2.2% in 1970-1975.

in South Asia are good. The economics are expected to grow due to gas. The gas is becoming cheaper and easier to obtain and sell.

in South Asia is the conflict between Hindus and Muslims. India and Pakistan then fought over Kashmir, leading to both countries testing nuclear weapons. They threatened war, but then agreed to cease-war.
