Religion differences have led to violence in Africa. Because of there being many differences between the three main religions, there were many revolts.

Political Changes
There is a lot of political instability. This leads to problems in the government. An example of this problem is the government corruption.
Economical Changes
Iraq enforces strict adherence to islamic law, leading to very few basic human rights. Because of there being very few basic human rights the people became mad. This led to many revolts.
Social Changes
Middle East and North Africa still face growing poverty rates, ethnic cleansing, high unemployment, poor education, and very limited civil liberties.
East Asia
Political Changes
The new Chinese government after Mao sought to modernize China's industry, agriculture, technology, and national defense. Communism still holds strong, despite reforms.
Economical Changes
China adopts the one child policy in 1979 to control population growth. Benefits such as child care are provided to couples who agree to the one child per family policy.
Social Changes
China joined the world trade organization in 2001 and normalized trade relations with the US in 2002. In the early 2000s a private sector received ten percent of the nations gross domestic product.
South and Southeast Asia
Political Changes
Political tension between North and South Korea continue mainly because North Korea's nuclear weapons program.
Economical Changes
Since 1990, South and Southeast Asia has experienced a large amount of economical growth. Japan's economy has slipped into a recession in the 1990s.
Social Changes
There is lots of tension between North and South Korea. The two countries are neighbors and they communicate poorly which hurts them both socially.
