expectancy: how strongly o you believe that you are able to complete a task.
high confidence= high expectancy= high motivation to do work
value= rewards for complete task and how pleasant of was/is to do the task.
implusiveness= how suseptable are you to impluses . correlated to procrastination. resistance is strength
delay= how long it is to complete the task. naturally we place more value on the short term rewards, not long term.
motivation = (expectancy x value) / (impulsiveness x delay)
why do we procrastinate?

how to raise expectancy if you think you arent skilled enough: break the task down into smaller ones,
ask for help ,form a study group.
how to improve task value:
improve the actual reward for completeing the task, improve the expericence of doing the task, add addition rewards for subtasks.

make time for high density fun more than low.
the pomodoro technique
set a timer for 25 min work as hard as you can with that time. write down your distrations anf impulses in a paper and continue your work
