Climax
The climax was when Doretha was walking past the boys and turned her head to look at them. Doretha said "How you doing?" then Walter and Larry said "Hey Doretha, hey baby."
Exposition
Doretha lived with her mother and her older sister, she helps her mom doing the house chores because, her father died. One time when Doretha was nine, her father gave her a notebook and Doretha write all her memories inside the notebook.
Conflict
The conflict was that Doretha was scared to walk past the boys because, Doretha like Coley.
Resolution
Doretha head back home after she walked past the boys and it went great! Aunt Mae told Doretha to come and watch the movie with her afterwards.
Major events
- Aunt Mae is going to watch a Murder Mystery with her niece but, she wants some potato chips, so she asks Doretha to get some.
- Doretha looks out the window and she sees the boys, and now she's scared to go buy potato chips because, Doretha is crazy about Coley.
- Aunt Mae taught Doretha how to walk confidently and naturally around the boys, so that she would not be scared.
- Doretha walked past the boys, and it went very well! Aunt Mae hugged for for doing a good job.
