Exposition
When Doretha's father died, Doretha helps out by doing
chores and most of the cooking. When Doretha was nine, she started a memory book- one page to remind her of each important memory. Now she is thirteen ,
Major events

Aunt Mae wants to watch the murder mystery with potato chips, so she sends Doretha to buy a pack of chips down the corner
Doretha is about to leave the house when she suddenly see's the boys. She is scared to go but the pack of chips because she is crazy about Coley (one of the boys).
After Doretha explains to Aunt Mae, she teaches Doretha how to act natural and confident around the boys, by teaching her a stylish way to walk.
After repeating the groovy walk few more times, Doretha was ready to go. She walked down the sidewalk in style and greeted the boys.
After coming back from the store in the corner, Doretha was extremely happy and excited! Aunt Mae congratulated her for her self-confidene.

Climax
The climax of Sister is Doretha when she said ''How you doing?'' and Larry and Walter said ''Hey Doretha, hey baby.'', and Bernard gave her a salute. But Coley stood still and chilled.with his hands in his pockets.
