Ethics
Memory
What you remember from past scenarios, and the memories you created with the people who are about to die, or the the the the the lack of.

the way you are brought up

Emotion
Emotion clouds your sense of reason and gets in the way of making the logical choice by forcing you to make an 'ethical' and 'morally correct' choice. Morality is subjective to each individual, and emotion is the factor that makes it subjective.

-
-
-
When emotion is left as the only way of knowing used to make ethical decisions, these decisions are often made with little to no regard to the consequences of our actions. However, when faced with a situation where one has prior experience, the emotions that are used to make a decision have been tested before, thus providing a solid ground for ethical decision-making.

Imagination
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today... Aha-ah...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace... You...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world... You...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

It lets you imagine scenarios where these events happen, and how you would act in them.

Reason
The utilitarian route how you value people, and if one person is equal to all others, the majority takes precedence over the majority every time. If there is a choice between saving 100 and saving 99, the 99 are left to die because reasoning says that the 100 are likely to be more valuable.

Faith

-
-
Among arbitrary grounds for ethics, faith deserves special mention due to its historical and continuing influence.
Language
-
-
Language plays a huge role in Ethics because language and its connotations trigger our emotions that affect our ability to decide what is Ethical
Language plays a small role in ethics because enough pure information and facts presented in a situation will allow our intuition to decide what is ethical
Intuition
What you decide to do --> Either save the people you know and kill the others, or save more people and kill your friend
-
Thinking intuitively let you make choices depending on the basic moral truths, which depends on each person
