Education in Britain
education in Britain is compulsory from the age of 5 to 16. There are 4 stages of education:nursey(age:3-5)primary(age:5-11)secondary(age:11-16)and the sixth form (age:16-18). English,maths and science are compulsory in all state schools. At 16 English students must take national exams in the number of subject they choose. These exam is called GSCEs. After GSCEs the some students leave school, others go on to a tecnical college, while others continue in a sixth-form college
type of schools:state school are free but there also private schools. The most traditional are boarding schools and are called 'public school'. The most famous public schools are Eton,Harrow, and Winchester. Pupils of all school have to wear a school uniform until they are 16
