Alternative education for parents who do not want to put their students in a traditional school but feel unqualified to independently home school. It is an option for compulsory education. This program is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is a group of teachers and coaches that act as a liaison between parents and the online school of choice.
Reason for design: Why is the alternative education school or program being designed and constructed?
This alternative school is designed for Christian families who do not want their children in public schools but are not comfortable with independently undertaking homeschooling.
This alternative school is not a last-chance, Type II nor a remedial, Type III school as described by Raywid (1994).
This alternative school is an innovative, blended learning school with Christian worldview foundations.
This school is not an independent, private alternative school.
