Gotham was founded in 1635.
In 1799, Darius Wayne began to construct Wayne Manor. In 1840, Solomon Wayne and Cyrus Pikney began to construct the architecture of Gotham. In the 1900's, Gotham was an industrial place, but it also was a haven for crime, poverty, and corruption. In 1981, Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered in crime alley, leaving Bruce Wayne as the last Wayne alive. Due to this, when he became an adult, Bruce became Batman and fought crime. Due to Batman, many super villains emerged. Later, he adopted many orphans who fought crime alongside him along with other heroes.
