Masculine and feminine cultures
Masculine- men are valued for assertiveness, material success, strength
In a masculine culture, women are valued for modesty, focus on quality of life, and tenderness
Very clear and defined gender roles

High and low-power distance cultures
high-power-distance cultures the power is held by a concentrated few
students expected to be modest, polite, totally respectful
