Audi Warranty Administration Reimbursement
To be qualify for reimbursement from Audi for any warranty work performed, you must be an authorized Audi dealer.
Audi will only reimburse you for the most economic repair available.
Audi will reimburse you for any parts and book time labor required that apply to doing the warranty repair. Certain cases will pay more for time taken over book time when completing a repair.
Labor Reimbursement
All labor reimbursement will be paid based on the warranty book times from ElsaWeb, which must be used at all times unless stated in Audi policy.
ElsaWeb will provide the dealer labor ops, which will be for specific jobs. Each labor op shows the book time as well as a description of the job being completed.
Overlapping labor operations will not be paid. For example, if the alternator and serpentine belt are under warranty and are being repaired at one time, you will only get paid to change the alternator because you must remove the belt anyway to change the alternator.
Dealers may challenge any warranty labor time at anytime if they feel it is unreasonable.
Certain cases may allow the dealer to be reimbursed for the technicians clock time if it exceeds the flat rate book time.
The labor rate the dealer will be paid at is based on the date and time the repair was made.
The labor time paid to the dealer will be based upon the decided warranty labor rate for that specific shop. Shops can request to change the warranty labor rate once every 12 month period.
Parts Reimbursement
Audi will reimburse the dealer for any parts required to do a warranty repair according to ElsaWeb.
Certain jobs may require only a repair, not actually replacing the part
The use of any fluid in a repair must be converted into Audi's unit system. Audi will not pay for any fluid used that is over the amount stated for the repair. If fluid is lost due to a technician mistake, or a different course of repair, warranty will not cover it.
Certain parts must be sent back to Audi following a repair to receive full warranty reimbursement.
