- - - - Exemplar Theory: When people encounter something they store these examples as bases of a category. When something else is presented we use our previous examples to see if this new example goes within a given category. If the new example falls into the given category, we accept and use it as another example to compare in that category.
        
        Prototype Theory:All our previous examples in a given category is morphed together to produce a prototype for catergory. We use the prototype as our bases of acepting or rejecting new instances to the caterogory. Rather than remembering previous examples we instead only remember the prototype and update it when needed.

      - Cognitive Economy: Take up the less amount of space in our brain. Only store things the minimum amount of times. Features are usually used once to describe something at the highest possible level. For example saying animals breathes defines all animals to breathe. Rather than saying birds also breath and so do cats.

      - Semantic priming:When you activate a node, all the nodes around it are primed. When you activate the salmon node other things such as fish, gills, swim may also fire. So when your asked questions about topics related to these nodes, it may take less time to answer related questions.
