Scenario 2: Dedicated online Knowledge and Comms platforms
Our current proposal costs out the KM and comms project at $174,095 per year going forward, to do all the activities and community-building described in the implementation plan. With the $110,118 for module 1 applied here, we could do about 65% or the envisioned activities to extend the KM and comms project for a full year.
If the evaluation funds were to be added into this amount, we could do closer to 70% or the planned activities for a full year.
Root more deeply locally and reach further globally: site gives global presence and regional rooting possible through translated materisl
Extend the field of knowledge and practice: Need to set up conditions for community engagement with site.
Build partnerships and expand and interconnect networks: In the first year the platform would host calls to action designed to connect the network.
Building on what has been done: through an online home for connection and enablers
Longer time arcs and on ongoing support: site can be kept active beyond the year of active curatorship
Systems Innovation Instructibles
Curating existing resources
Mapping / connecting social change makers
Discussion and Q and A forums
News and reviews
Guest interview / podcasts
Build the culture and community of praxis: the core reason for the online presence.
Groups working on real life problems: provides an intentional foundation for this through access to tools, explainer videos, webexes etc
Transparent co-evaluation: The KM/comms platform creates a space to support this, i.e. by making available questions, experiences, and learning.
