Phallic Stage
During this stage, young girls and boys come to realize the differences between sexes and start to become more focused on their body. Also, they may develop strong attachments to parents of the opposite sex and may view the same sex parent as a rival for the other parents affection.

Latency Stage
when this stage occurs, Freud believes that children drop their aggressive urges that they may have had towards their parents and will learn to control these emotions

Genital Stage
During this stage, nothing new really occurs except that children start to become aware of his or her own gender identity.
