Science
Charles Bonnet Syndrome can cause patients with impaired vision to hallucinate
The same applies for blind patients
Those who had sight then became blind
They can last for minutes or hours
It is so real that people think they have gone insane
You might have seen the seen you are hallucinating before and your brain assesses that memory as if you are really seeing it
The syndrome comes and goes
We do not fully understand it yet
Pain
Pain is discomfort that the human body feels when it is harmed
We feel pain because of a nerve cell called nociceptors
Nociceptors are nerves
Like all nerves they conduct electricity
When you feel pain the nociceptors are firing signals to your brain
They are in all your body parts
We still do not fully understand pain yet
nociceptors only fire if there is any harm happening to the body
They can be damaged to the point where you cant feel anything
The threshold for nociceptors can be lowered to the point where even touching something can hurt
Power
power is the rate at which energy is transferred
Or the rate at which work is done
1 watt is an energy transfer of 1j per second
watt = (W)
ps capital 'W'
The equation for power is
Power=Joules/time
Power= work done/time
