Using cut -out of the plants from the storybook, children will sort according to the colours, shapes and size of the plants. (NUM,LL)
Have the children do an individual collage of a tree or plant with with what they collected. After, share about their collage in front of the class. (A&C & LL)
Have the children to do a show and tell of their collage. Teacher will close it off by asking: “What have you learnt these past 2 weeks?” (SED)

Children will have a template through which they would easily be able to record the plant's growth. (DOW)
Conduct a controlled experiment, of what different variables such as sunlight, water affect the plants' growth. (DOW, SED)
Where do the Plants grow?
- Under the ground
- Above the ground
The children will go to the park and observe and discuss the environment around them. Children will also be required to pick out leaves and twigs. ( DOW, MSD)
